Born in France and raised in the south of Portugal. Currently based in Stockholm, my work typically showcases identity, brand design, visual design, typography, and art direction.
Like many designers I started my journey with the love for drawing, translating my observations onto paper. This passion, reinforced by the family’s sign making business, shaped my design language, emphasising curiosity, quality and craftsmanship.
These elements helped me inform my formal background which covers a wide range of disciplines from industrial design, to identity design and editorial — both in advertising and design studios. Learning with kind humans, where some became friends, across Portugal, Sweden, and the US.
This experience has given me the flexibility and skill to bridge the gap between disciplines and teams — between digital and print — where I push for collaboration, quality output, and coherence.
The need to share knowledge and give back to the community, leads me to occasionally share talks at Hyper Island and mentor others in the field. I am energised by engaging projects, so I am always open for collaboration in the field of brand and identity design, if I find the project fun and stimulating.
Currently I am an Art Director at Volvo Cars, where I help explore and define the visual identity, and tonality, for the future car HMI.
